Laura Pompeo

Co-Founder & Art Director

Laura’s role is to constantly envision new ways for design, art, and lighting to meet, creating unique pieces that seamlessly merge with space, transforming light into a sensory and artistic experience.

With a career dedicated to the fusion of art and lighting, Laura has developed an exceptional passion and skill for designing unconventional lighting solutions—pieces that transcend mere functionality and become true artistic expressions. Her expertise and hands-on approach led her into the world of design and sustainability, naturally culminating in the creation of Treviole.

As Treviole’s Art Director, Laura is the creative and technological architect of Treviole. Her role spans from researching cutting-edge materials and technologies to developing captivating designs, from defining the role of light within each piece to transforming those very pieces into thought-provoking artistic and cultural experiences. Her skills allow Treviole to continuously evolve, setting no limits for itself.

Laura’s vision is ambitious—she seeks to spread and enhance the understanding that light is not merely a technical tool or a decorative element, but an art form deeply rooted in the earth and nature, one that must be valued and preserved.

Fascinated by how emotions, memories, and the human mind are intricately connected to perception through the five (plus one) senses, she envisions Treviole as a pioneer in experiential lighting—a form of light that is not only seen but can be touched, heard, tasted, and even smelled.

For Laura, Treviole’s creations should be more than just objects—they should be true experiences, perhaps even short sensory journeys into a fantastic world. And that is precisely how she envisions the brand itself: as a ticket to an exclusive event.

With an eye on sustainability and experimentation, her goal is to explore new expressive possibilities and transform every project into a work of art that speaks of light, emotion, and well-being.
